Stuart started his career as a fabricator at Airedale Glass, working from drawings manufacturing curtain walling, windows and doors, during the 16 years that Stuart worked for Airedale he progressed through various roles from charge-hand to Team leader and eventually moving into the office to scheduling and buying.
In 2006 Stuart moved to Aire-Valley to continue his role Scheduling and to help out with design, during the first 2 years Stuart attended college gaining qualifications in technical drawing and for 2 years was a draughtsman, other roles include estimating, but from the start of his time at Aire-valley Stuart has always helped out on the contracts side of the business and over the last 2 years has slowly progressed into his current role.
Outside work Stuart has 2 daughters and is married to Wendy, he likes alternative music often attending gigs, but most of his time is taken up by football, playing for & managing a Sunday league side, playing in a veteran’s team, as well as 5 & 6 aside.
Chris has gained vast experience of working at various levels within the company. He started as a Fabricator in 1999 after leaving school at 16, progressing through the business via CNC Operator / Programmer, Contracts Manager, Senior Estimator, to Sales Director.
He has completed many courses to progress his understanding of certain aspects of the business, namely CAD and CIOB in Site Management.
Chris enjoys playing football, and follows Bradford City when he can find the time.
